body mods

I have an 02 explorer XLT and I would like to loose the soccer mom look and was wondering if same year sport track or ranger front ends will swap out right for a more aggressive look I plan to get rid of the plastic trim on the body to clean it up and would also like to find a wing to fit out back I've seen some rear wings but can't find one .Any help or ideas would be great:exp:

The body's are completely different I don't see this being possible without some serious modification...You may want to see if there are pre-made fiberglass front end kits for your ex but so far I've only seen them for 2nd gens and rangers.

this may not be your style, but have you thought about a brushguard/bullbar and billet grill combo? that should help loose the soccer mom look and make it a little more aggressive looking

Yes I have given thought to the billet grille but not the bull bar a little too off road looking for what i want.

I've seen a couple of sport tracks that the sheet metal look the same as far as body lines and hood just the grille and bumper looked different thats what I would like to use for mine if the whole front end will interchange with both being built on the same platform vehicle I think they would interchange .I kinda figured the ranger was a long shot. Has anyone ever tried the sport track swap?:exp:

This is the look I'm after but I'm hoping it can be done on the 02 by switchint the entire nose instead of doing alot of slicing and dicing to do it:exp:

ok so I found a couple of pictures

and just from looking at the two cars it looks like the parts would line up, I say get a good look at yours and find one in a junkyard and compare the two. check where the all the mount points are and see if they are the same. even if its not an exact fit its probably close enough to lightly modify the parts to get a proper fit.

Thats what I'm thinking I have looked at a couple in parking lot's but I need to go to a bone yard so I can look closer and get a few mesurements and might be able to mix and math what I need:exp:

Look around on Cardomain.com. There are a few wildly modded 02-up Explorers on there. Here is one I can think of that definitely has body mods. Bumper covers, side skirts, etc. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3228922

Billet Grille and some wheels is a nice start.
