As usual, there is nothing off the shelf and easy about "Project Insanity".
I am close to getting the body roughed on and of course, none of the stock mounts are going to work out for me... I have some ideas but was hoping to see if anyone else has had any experience in building their own body mounts before I start wasting good metal on experiments...
Pictures of something you have done, or seen, for custom mounts would be greatly appreciated!
Also, if you have seen a good source for the standard rubber mounts I would like to hear about that too. I haven't checked the dealer yet but it's nice to know about options before I throw myself to their mercy!
As a side note, has anyone ever seen the type of body mount in the second picture and/or what do you think about keeping that style of mount on the rear of the cab?
