brake bleeding question...

Easy question I should already know, do you bleed them with the engine running or not? I've always thought not running but never actually heard it said.

Third times the charm... thanks for the info. Brakes are bled and still working :thumbsup:
 






Brake bleeding

I did both, beginning with the rear right wheel, then left rear, then right front and finally left front.
First with engine off and then again with it running, i got some air out with the engine running.
Just replaced all the brake lines on my 1991 explorer sport.
