My Explorer passenger side break light keeps going out. This is like the 5th time I have replaced it in like 6 weeks. The bulb does not look burned out nor, should it be. When I turn the lights on all lights work. reverse, blinker, head, fog, etc. When i step on the break, it does not brighten. Can anyone help. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

is there anything that I can do by myself.... or should I take it to get looked at?

you need to troubleshoot it. basically locate the 12V wire and trace it back with a volt meter

start at the pedal switch and then go back until you no longer read 12V, then start looking for the broken splice

or if everything checks then check the ground wire and make sure where it grounds to the chassis that the connection is clean
