well folks. my brakes are all nice and squishy, and brake fluid is leaking between the power brake booster and master cylinder. when the brake fluid resovoir is full, the brakes just barely function, and it leaks really slowly. i'm wondering if i just replace the power brake booster will it work again, or do i have to replace both the master cylinder and power brake booster? there isn't any fluid coming from any of the lines, and when the brakes are depressed when the car is off, i can slam them to the floor continuously even after pumping them several times. i know this isn't good at all. also when using the brakes when i drove a short distance, i need to put the brake pedal all the way to the floor before the brakes just begin to work. thanks everyone.

sounds like you should replace both... jsut a bit of PM.... also, have everything else checked as well.... leakage in a brake system is bad...

whatcha need to do is, give your brushguard to BBX and get an excursion or a hummer. :)
