I just took my truck into the shop down the street (good honest guys)....I ended up having to get pads, 2 new rotors, calipers, hoses, and they reconnected my abs wire (which was cut due to an accident)

cost me 600 bucks. The abs light was always on and now its not, which is a plus.

So I drove home and everything seemed fine, went to the gym (about 10 or so miles) fine, and then on the way home the whole ride i heard knocking. The knocking/clicking would get faster as i drove faster and would stop as soon as I applied any pressure to the brakes. Anyone have an idea what it is? I don't know if I can get there until Saturday, but if it is something really serious I will get it there tomorrow somehow.

Thanks

Kris

There is an anti-rattle clip that fits on the ends of each front brake pad. If this is missing or misaligned it can cause that noise.

The clip or something else could be digging into the rotor, which could ruin that brand new rotor.

could be your hub if you have a 4x4, could be a loose bearing in your rotor if it was put back in slightly loose. Whatever it is.. it sounds like it's from the work you did and your (good honest guys) I'm sure will tell you if it was a malfunction on their labor...imo it isn't anything serious.
