I did some searching on here, but found nothing so far...hope you guys can help me out.

I have to push my brake pedal down almost all the way to the floor before the brakes engage. The pads are not worn, fluid isn't low. When the brakes do engage, it doesn't feel like slam; they act like normal brakes, I just have to depress the pedal too far.

Could there be air in the system?

Thanks again, I've been having too many problems with my X lately!

Bleed those suckers. might wanna go ahead and flush the whole system?

OK, will do. Probably can't until during the week though. Thanks for the quick response! I'll update when done, that should be the only thing that's wrong, right?

If you pump the pedal quickly when driving, does the pedal come up? If so, you may need a master cylinder.

Do you have drums in the back or disk? If you have drums then you got to adjust the star wheel.

But if you do have disk and their bleed then like said above, you need a new master cylinder or rebuild it....And in some cases, a portioning valve could be blocked and not letting you bleed the brakes proper

i've got disc in the back. still havn't had a chance to bleed them with school and work, but i'm trying to do it soon! thanks again
