Brand of front axle\CV shaft do you use

On my 97 AWD I need to replace the left front axle\CV shaft. What replacement brands have a good reputation?

I've heard good from them also, but no personal experience.

I just bought new ones from Napa. Carquest only sells remanufactured ones. Unsure of O'Reilly/Schmucks, since I try to avoid them at all costs. No clue about any of those other chains we don't have up here.

I'm sure most of them you find at shops are A1 Cardone

I believe they do a majority of the remanufactured shafts.
I know Napa and Carquest remanufactured shafts are done by A1 Cardone.

I need to change the left CV... I'm actually surprised it lasted 170k on the original. Just noticed it was leaking the other day...
