cv shaft help

i have been hearing a noise the past week coming from the front end and i think ive narrowed it down to a bad cv shaft

when i go to remove the shaft, do i just take a pry bar and pry it out of the front diff, or is there a retaining clip i need to remove inside the diff before taking out the shaft?

if it makes any difference, its the shaft on the passenger side

any other tips on removal and install would be great, thanks!

No clip, just be careful not to damage the seals when you pull the shaft out.

which seals?

also, are there any kind of bearings inside the diff that the shaft sits into like it does on the oppisite end with the wheel hub?
