Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 31x10.5x15

Anyone have any photos of these tires on a 97 Explorer 2 door 4x4? And did you have to do any trimming? I'm wanting to see what they look like on the explorers.

I have 265/75/16s on my 98 Sport. They're only about 1/2" taller and the sidewalls are exactly the same.

They required about an inch of trimming in the front fenders (inside/back, plastic only). 31s should require a bit less trimming.

No trimming will be required. I run 265/75R15s on mine which is a 31" With no problem.

How do those tires perform? My parents are looking into getting them for their Explorer.

I like mine a lot! Excellent traction in both packed and loose snow (no more entering parking lots sideways) also on wet pavement. Performed extremely well in thick mud, treads cleared themselves well. Quiet on the pavement. Ride a little stiffer than my old Michelin ATX's, but then again, it is a truck.

Did you guys have any problems with the tire shops mounting them on the explorers? They sure are expensive in Missouri about $155 a tire. and tire rack has them for 112 a tire. Looks like they get alot of good ratings on tire rack. I was looking for a good on and off road tire that would perform good offroad and not make alot of road noise while on road is this tire a good choice?

according to tire rack the Destination M/T is far better... user opinions say it all. and for 108$ i'd say awesome deal!

the destination mt is a great tire, however, its a mud terrain... not even in the same class as the revos which is an all terrain... the revos are awesome all around... i was contemplating them when looking at tires for my moms explorer, however, i decided to go with the dueler h/l becasue her truck never sees offroad, just nasty streets.... the firestone destination LE is also an awesome street tire.. those are on the durango that belongs to the mother of my child

Well, you're probably looking at the other Bridgestone Dueler's. The Revo's are rated higher than the Destination M/T's, but it doesn't really matter because the Revo's are All terrain tires while the others are Mud terrains.

So I should'nt have to do no trimming if I went with the 31x10.5x15 that comes out to 265/75/15 right? These tires will be the ones I get it seems.

No trimming required and I had no problem getting them mounted on the Ploder.

The Destinations are good tires. My dad has them on his work truck. He said they do awsome in the mud. But they're really noisy. 31s require no trimming. Atleast in most cases.

i ahve the dueler m/t which is basically a sister tire to the destination m/t and they are about as loud in my experience as the BFG a/t

I'm not to up on the tire sizes sorry for the dumb question. But these 31X10.5-15 C should fit right on my stock rims correct? The tires on it now are 235/75-15. Sorry just checking before I place the order.

I just bought a set of Bridgestone Revo's a couple of months ago and i love the tires. I did notice they ride just a little stiffer then my old Dunlop RV's but the performance of the Revo's is well worth it. They cost alittle more then most of the tires, but if you have the money to spend it's worth it.

The complete answer is "yes, it can rub", but only when going steeply downhill with only one front wheel on the ground and turning in the direction of that wheel. In other words: only under extreme conditions I have no business getting into without lockers anyway .

It's really just the lighting in that pic. These both show the steering centered, but the gap isn't obvious until it's lit up:

On road there's almost two inches there even at 3/4 steering travel.

You are correct, they will fit nicely on your stock rims (the only dumb question is the one that isn't asked).
