Broke the lug studs right off

So either you change the hub or toss the truck?

BTW, driving with three bolts is VERY dangerous.
Yeah, I know...taking the backroads helps a little. :)

Why do I need the change the hub, or toss the truck?

Thnx for the input all.

I think I can speak for others when I say we don't want to help you do an improper repair just to sell the car to someone who will have the wheel fall off.

If you are selling it, you should just fix it right. Do not pass on your problems to another person.

Maybe you should have checked it out better before you bought it. No excuse for being "surprised" about the lug nuts.

Hold on a second, what do you mean "do not pass your problems onto another person"? I'm not doing that! I just am wanting to know why sonice said "replace the hub or toss the truck", what the heck I'm not trying to dump my issues onto somebody else! Thats why I'm making an effort to repair as necessary. This Exploder keeps on breaking things, and until it stops which is highly unlikely, I'll just have to bite the bullet and fix that piece of crap!

What would be an improper repair?

Ok so I did it. Without removing the axle or even moving it back. I wasnt about to wrestle with the pumpkin (rusty).

Anyways got some shorter lug studs than usual so I could ciphen them in between the E-Brake and hub cover. Only downside is the hub cap wont stay on if driving but thats just minor.

Thanks for the info, it helped!

BTW, I also hand-tighteneds/loosened everything. No impact anything lol. Who needs those things when you workout...:D
