Finally split my t-case and the pics attached look like the shift fork broke in half. The ramp appears really gouged as well. Not sure how this happened but replacement parts are in order.

Symptoms: flashing OD light, limp mode, hard shifts. Cant get into a higher gear - even lost all gears at one point and was stuck in neutral but eventually went back to limp mode.

I was thiking Omega for the replacement but wasnt sure if it was worth doing the case half repairs/upgrades as well.

Also - I noticed a lot of slack in the chain. Is this normal with the case half removed since nothing is holding it firm on both ends?

Anything else worth looking at/replacing so I don't have to open this up again?

Thanks

Check the range collar too. Check the case for halves for ovaling at the shift rail. Get the fork from Omega. Use tbtrans.com if you need a collar & seal kit.

PS: maybe get the transmission codes pulled also...something else could be wrong.
