Well, we were out at Paragon on December 2nd, and one of the guys with us had a lifted Bronco. He decided that it could do a biblical imitation and tried to walk on water with predictable results. The motor hydrolocked and he ended up with 2' of water in the truck. The vehicle was last seen being towed away behind another Bronco

That's about what all of us did. When he opened the doors, about 2' of water poured out. This was his 2nd or 3rd foray into the pond. The first two he just skirted around the edges. This time he got brave and decided to go for the who enchilada. What made it worse for him was this was a Sunday night at about 4PM, and he had to drive it two hours back to Jersey. NOT!!! Dunno how he got home, but it sure wasn't in that truck!!

Is the whole thing trashed or can it be fixed?

Not sure. We pulled all the plugs and tried to turn the motor over, but just got a click out of the started. Then we put a socket wrench on the crank, and still couldn't budge the motor. At that point, we gave up and he towed it out. There were 3 VERY wet spark plugs, and the air filter was sopping wet and muddy. He didn't hear any bangs when the motor quit, it just stopped, so he might get lucky and just be hydrolocked. He'll probably need to pull the heads at the minimum.....

LOL, kinda reminds me of when I accidentally put engine cleaner on my engine when it was hot.....SMOKE!!!

:fire: :shoot:

Dude, what heck was that guy thinking? i have i lifted 1/2 ton(same thing as bronco) 6" of lift and 35's. i wouldn't even think of trying that LAKE, not smart. oh well without people like that we have to spend o hole lot moore $ on intertainment!!!! hehe.

Is this what I have to look forward to in the spring?!?

No WAY am I gonna go thru that lake! That was 4 feet of mud the last time I saw it....and Lizard ran thru it anyway ;) lol

Hey Spas, none of us partially sane people are gonna do it either, EVERYONE there thought this guy was nuts!! A little mud is fun, but 4' deep lakes are crazy!!

You gotta admit that's pretty funny, but I'd never be that crazy
