hey nick, how come i don't see you in there?? ;)

Me and my buddy split off because I wanted to see some of the other trails that we skipped over last time. It was real nice to meet everyone though and I'm glad to see everyone had a good time! BTW if you need any webspace just let me know because I have plenty.

Thanx for sharing the pics and vid that looks like it was fun.

Fred looks like he drives like us! hehe

I wish I could have made it :( Maybe next time. I deffinitly want to see more pics!

i only push my truck as hard as i need to, in order to get it places it was never ever meant to go. ;)

we all had a good time yesterday (i liked dragging that boulder out of the trail, that was mint) and im glad that my advice was able to help some of you guys out of tricky situations. i ended up going back out after i showed you guys how to get home and hanging out with that guy in the blazer for a bit. we went off a bump at ofer 50mph and i think i got a mild concussion from it. i dont realy remember much of the afternoon after i smashed my head, or how i got home, or what i said to my girlfriend on the phone (i dont think she liked it) or why im not at work now, but it was still all in good fun. i do remember us in the blazer crossing that lake that i decided not to chance. the water was halfway up the dashboard in that truck, and it kept on going. you guys all did realy good for your first times out, and i could see that as the day went on you were gaining more and more confidence. next time, take off them DAMN RUNNIN BOARDS ;).

I have to thank Fred for coming to get me when I stopped twice.( damn shift motor problems :frustrate)...Once when we started, my shift motor wouldn't engage, then @ the end of the day when it wouldn't get out of 4x4 low...

I agree with Fred: Everyone's confidence and ability increased as the day wore on. His attitude was if their was a slight chance his truck could do it then he was going to make sure it did... I hearby bestow the title of Trail Boss to Fred.

I have some cool video (8mm analog :(). I need to figure out a way to convert to Digital (any inexpensive Ideas?) I plan on getting a digital camera asap.
I have:
Mike rydinhigh during his water crossing
Me DeRocha during my water crossing.
Tim Scormunch getting some running board damage on the rocks.
Fred FourXFred during his Uphill battle
Fred FourXFred recovering Mike from being high centered.

Photos from the Run

Here are the non-blurry photos I took, too bad I don't have any of the really hard stuff close up. Hopefully someone does. We wern't thinking about photos though when we tried to get my truck up the "hill of death" though.

The Morning After

Before yesterday, I couldn't stand to see any dirt on her - now, I just can't seem to find the hose and sponge... :p

Not really enough mud on the side. :( The photo also shows the tweaked running board. They might just be comming off ASAP. ;)

Dude - glad you made it out OK.. were you in your truck or the blazer? Where was the bump?

Did you make it across the lake? How deep do you think the water was? You're nuts... and we gotta do it again. With more lift and without running boards.

Really nice pics Aaron.. I am impressed at the way you drove yesterday. I don't think I would have pushed my X has hard as you did your Mountaineer...

I can't seam to find the hose either...

Thanks John - it was a lot of fun seeing what the truck could/could not due in its present form. Taking it to the limit has been something I've wanted to do for a while.

Todd - You need to upload the files to the internet before you can post them. I'd be happy to host them, just email me at general@swanrivercustoms.com

Me and my sister had a blast yesterday. I wouldn't of gotten stuck if it wasn't for the steps but im glad I did have them other wise I would need to rocker panels. :D Next time I go it will be with my body lift and 33's. BTW if any of you guys need help lifting your trucks let me know. Ok now for some pics. I have more but need a website to host them on, can anyone help me out?
