Haha, I would probably be like a kid in a candy store "Oooh look at that one, and that one, and the one over there!" while going down the road. Or TRYING to go down the road.......

LoL, I bet you would get used to it after a while :p I wouldnt mind having guages EVERYWHERE. LoL ;)

I love how most people on this site just flame someone when they're jealeous, don't have the same opinion, or are ignorant of someone.

I personally wouldn't build a truck like that, but I respect the time, money, and effort it took.

So what are all the gauges for? :D

I think a more appropriate question is what AREN'T those gauges for? Also, if you notice, the computer monitor is displaying all kinds of OBD-II data... more gauges!

Check the website jack posted, and it will tell you everything you wanna know, and MORE :p

I would definitely love to have a car that had an "aircraft ****pit" look. The more pretty flashing lights the better. Oh, and lots of switches and knobs too.

I see opinions being stated, no flaming. I'm sure most everybody respects the time and effort put into this vehicle. I know I do.

i never said i didnt like the truck. however, i do not like the bag/shockmounts. thats all. gotta love the blower. :)

This is just my opinion, but I'm not into buying everything off the shelf at the local auto parts store and just installing **** until there is no more room to fit stuff. That truck is so reduntant that it just might pass a NASA test drive.

Secondly, those right angles won't last long.

One more, should have saved the money for a straight axel swap.

since its not functional offroad and too pretty for that anyways i would have just slammed it. but there's nothing wrong with lifting it for show imo

most of the work done is great though!

i do see a lot of jealousy on this thread- how would you have done it different? or what suggestion do you have on how to improve it? those could be useful

i'm gonna be a ***** now and post my screen, try to watch THAT will going down the road...

had to delete the ****ography- sorry guys

For some reason I thought you were watchin Richard S... :p :D

You seem to say a lot about people being jealous. If someone doesn't like something, it doesn't mean they're jealous.

Wow, he is running windows on that screen, that is cool as hell.

Honestly yall, and I am not trying to start anything at all, I am just curious, what would yall think of it if it was Ranger?

I think it is a great looking truck although it could very possibly never see the dirt. And the few that said, well its a chevy, it sucks...cmon, give me a break, the Ranger and the S-10 are about as even as it comes, not one is far and above the other by any means. I guess it is just me, but I just dont understand why some think that Ford is king and every other car company is trash. Oh yea, dont make this a flame fest, at least try to keep it a semi-adult conversation.

I think that computer screen is cool, but overkill. I can understand having a couple gauges, but not that many. The look of the ZR2s have always appealed to me, but I think that guy just pumped as much money into that thing just to see what he could get. And even if it was a Ranger, I would not drive it unless it was given to me.

I am not saying it is a Ford/Chevy issue with everyone that didnt like it, just the ones that made sure to point out that it was a chevy and how it would be much better it is was a ford.

I can really see where everyone is coming from on everything, I like the truck overall, there are some things that may not be neccesary imo, but that is what it is all about right?>

I agree with James, the bag mounts could have done better. The bag is mounted on a tab that's coming off the square mount, which is basically holding the whole truck up which is scary, but still a nice truck. Thise bags in the front are ART Shockwaves, which are definately not meant for offroad use, much less the Slam Specialties bags in the back.

Bash as I may please. I've got good gauges, and from those pics, I can weld better, and I don't use gas (the welds don't look as clean) but that's not the right way to build bag/shock/spring hoops. Simple as that.

I like the monitor set up unlike myself I have it sitting in the front bench seats and when I slam on the brakes there goes the gps unit, laptop, headset if I'm not wearing it....etc. crashes to the floor. I would like to know what setup that is........I run voice activated navigational and I am always looking into the seat beside me to see where my next turn is going to be. NOT SAFE!!

I like the truck because he has put so much time and creativity into it

I figured some of you weren't reading the guys website on his build-up. Looking at pics is great but when you read the build up then you understand what he has and why he did the bags as he did. So for those that don't read the info page here are some highlights.

Also this guy must have some way to tell who links his pics cause the board where I found this he also replied in same manner. Only 1 post as well.

My goal was to stop getting those $50.00 tickets for bumpers being over 28" and keep the look as before so I decided to use air springs along with 6" Superlift suspension lift so if air bags failed I still have a suspension even when 4 wheeling. With air bags, 4 link (no room up front for bags because of CV axles) alone just one failure (hole in bag, hole in line, bad valve, compressor, ect.) and you go nowhere. So I just added air springs to raise the truck and loosened torsion in front and took out springs in rear to get bumper down to 28" or less and now I have 9" of adjustment.
