2 questions regarding bulbs:
I'm considering buying the Hiper 85W Superwhite bulbs for my '96 XLT, but I've heard from some people that they can overheat the wiring and fry relays from drawing too much power. I have a friend who has these same bulbs in his '98 F-150 and hasn't had a problem with them. Basically, I'd just like to hear firsthand from anyone who has had problems installing these higher wattage bulbs.
Also, has anyone located a source or manufacturer of a superwhite bulb in the 899 size, to fit the factory foglamps in the '96 Explorer? I don't really care what brand they are, but I just want all my lights to match.
