I have a 1st gen X, and Ive started to notice the front bumper is slanted/sagging. One side is lower than the other. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you go about fixing it? My friend had that problem, so he just took a fork lift and lifted the front end(he owns a construction company - Baumgartner Const, so he has easy access to a forklift), but that approach seems pretty drastic, and almost like it would cause more problems than solve. Any suggestions?

I think all of the first gen get a saggy bumper. mine has it to i tried using a jack but it just went back in to place. You try using a high lift i think i am gonna try that next.

The bolts that hold the bumper to the frame go through slotted holes so you can adjust the position of the bumper by loosening the bolts and moving it. Jacking it up to move it without loosening the bolts will probably just bend something that shouldn't be bent (like the frame horns). It's pretty easy to adjust if you have a couple of floor jacks and some wood blocks. Loosen up the bolts, then use the floor jacks and wood blocks to get the bumper where you want it, and then tighten the bolts back down.

WARNING!! If you have airbags, make sure you disconnect the negative cable from the battery for at least 2 minutes before you start working on the bumper to disable the airbag circuit. If you don't, you could accidentally set them off.
