I just had a bulb die behind the tachometer in my guage cluster. How difficult is it to replace that bulb and is it worth going ahead and installing the white face gauges when I get it replaced?

In order to replace the bulb you have to remove the dash around the speedometer so you might as well do the gauges.

Replacing the bulb requires pulling the dash panel apart. Bigtigexplorer, osopolar, and myself have done write-ups on taking the dash apart. It's not that hard, just takes a little time. I would suggest replacing all the bulbs while you are back there, so no others will burn out as soon as you are finished putting it back together. Here are a couple of the threads that include the write-ups:

If you want to add white face guages while you have it apart, all you'll have to do extra is remove the 7 screws holding the clear plastic cover over the guages, and install the white guages by their instructions.

Hope this helps.
