I was putting axle u-joints on my 94 limited 4 wheel yesterday and there isn't a c clip in the end of the axle? should there be? The auto hubs have been replaced with super winch hubs and i have the original hubs, and the c clips are in the extra parts box, should i install them on hte axle end?

The passenger side axle will have a c-clip on it. The driver side doesn't.

First, before we start giving advice about C-clips, we ought to make sure that we understand which of the C-clips kiknurazz2 is talking about...

If he is talking about those "oh hell" clips that go on the very end of the axle stubs on the end of the spindles, and into the lock-out hubs, then YES - by all means, they should both be there.

If he is talking about the axle shaft C-clips inside the carrier, then mrboyle is correct - plus they can both be eliminated with a certain modification to the passenger side axle shaft (which works good - and allows for fast trail fixes).

So, kiknurazz2, post up and let us know which ones...
