I read this on the specs of an X that had been lifted and stuff like that... the guy said that he had bought some shocks or something and that had given him a Caddy-like ride... is that possible just by buying some shocks? I mean that sound kinda too easy! but any one w/some insight in the matter I will appreciate you comments... thanx!

Caddy-like ride...go into some more depth...All shocks will do is determine how soft or hard your ride is.

Cadillac WHAT? An Escalade? Then yes, you can get a "Caddy-like ride" in an Explorer. "Caddy-like ride" is all subjective.

well pretty much what I mean is like... a smooth caddy like ride or grand marquis that's what I think he meant I mean is it possible? thanx!

I heard that stiffening of skyjacker extended radius arms can make you ride quality increase alot. Also me might have had air-ride suspension on his lift.

I'm sure an Escalade rides a whole lot better than the Explorer. Almost any other truck I have ridden in rides better than an Explorer. The handling is up to par, but the ride quality isn't. It would take serious modification to make one ride like a caddy. Shocks certainly aren't going to do it.
