i did alil road testing today.(loaded with the trailer and with out). seems as the truck is right now, im mostly in the 2k up rpm range(5500 WOT redline)..

wish there were more videos of that 303 cam in explorer.. but will be callin comp cams this weekend to here what they say(last time i called i think they tried to sell me a 500 cam kit )

i would look at replacing valve springs and push rods to correct specs to match cam as well.... depending on what cam you go with you may run into some valve float.... factory springs in my opinion need to be changed. and if possible some 1.6/1.72rr or somthing of that sort depending ont he cam and you goals with the truck

Yes, I forgot to add that I am running double springs that were recommended by comp. I had to get new retainers and locks for the springs as well. 1.6 aluminum roller rockers also.
