Yes that is the correct part
It should come with the alignment tool? Many of them do anymore

I believe you will also need the wiring pigtail, I do not think the 95 wiring plug fits the 96 sensor

Unfortunately it doesn't come with an alignment tool.
We "borrowed" some from Autozone and we are hoping those might fit when I get the new part.

As far as the wiring, is this what you mean?

I have read through some yes. The current syncro does not slide in gently at all.

When I get a chance I will definitely check to make sure it's at TDC and all that. The vehicle is currently at a friend's who is trying to help so it's not readily available to me.

I am just trying to get the new right parts so I can help finish this.
