Can’t hear anything when navigating/text msg

Just purchased 2017 Explorer XLT last Monday and I still can’t figure out how to hear the audio on the navigation and text message read back. It’s driving me crazy that I can’t figure it out.

Prompt volume is probably low. Send a message, press hear it and then turn up the volume while it’s reading it out.

Thanks. I did try that but that didn’t work. I ended up going into Ford and I guess the previous owner had rewired things to install some headrest DVD players but took them out and reinstalled the original headrest when they sold the Explorer. Unfortunately, they did not rewire things back to what was there originally and left live wires in the dash. All has been resolved and fixed completely. Everything’s working perfectly.
