I know it's crazy question but I blew head gasket(pretty sure) . When I popped cylinder cover off I saw that both cassettes were destroyed. . The chains both have good tension on them a d the fact that it was running fine before makes me wonder. It did run lil rough but was good after 5 minutes. Maybe blowing gasket is what totally destroyed them both but I really don't have money or equipment to pull this engine out so am I crazy to think the chain won't skip ?

Good morning Sir!

Where are the broken parts of the disturbed cassettes now?
Unfortunately these parts walk to to the oilpan and clogg the oilpickup,
loss of oilpressure, loss of timing chain tensioner pressure.
Your picture shows loosen headbolts, bend oil gallery tube
and the rear cassette bolt is now your chainguide.

so am I crazy to think the chain won't skip ?
I think it's a matter of time they will skip.
Read about doing the timing job with installed engine, but tranny out.
Maybe that's an option, now then good luck.

You will jump time and your pistons will slam into your valves
Not a good idea
