I prefer to stoplight race with guys who don't know we're racing. That way I always win... and I don't have to get on the gas that hard... My 4 banger ranger smoked a Subaru STI last week... he had no idea how bad he got beat.

The difference is the later v8 explorers can actually beat cars that know they're in a race:

Aviators are rated at 302 HP and Explorer's/Mountaineers are rated a 239 HP(this is crank HP). You should lose to the Aviator. Get a tune, efan and exhaust then you will easily win That's what I have and currently run 15.22 in the 1/4.

Zerodevil, with your mods you should be in 1st place on the NA poll and eating up any stock Aviator that comes your way.

i have a 02 mounty with the 4.6 (40k), i thought my truck was fast, but then i drove my friends aviator yesterday with 106k and it hauls ass, much faster then my truck, and it shifts sooo smooth. makes me want to go out and get an aviator engine and drop in mine.

ooh this really makes me want an aviator! I beat an envoy in a race. The exterior was modded (Lowered, grill, tint, etc.) but IDK which engine it had or any mods it had to it.
