any angle would be good as long as its close up-thanks im gettin the rack thurday, i already have one pair of Hella 500 fogs and im gettin another set of 500 driving tommorow. 6 Hellas!
sweet! so it looks as though all i need is a 1/8" u-bolt and a little bit of metal and i have a light mount! thanks splashman! and one more question where do you guys have your wires goin into the roof? in the front i mean.
I drilled a hole through my roof for the front lights, but if I were you, I would just run the wires through the back hatch. You can hide the wires with zip ties on the rack.
I have 6 light mounts for a conferr roof rack they are similar to the ones in the picture they clamp on a 4 inch rack, but the light mounts in the middle 2 inches from the top and 2 inches from the bottom, or i have a buddy that has a surco and just bought 1 pair of them and drilled holes and them and bolted the them to the top piece to save him some $. If you want them i am sellin them for 10 bucks each. I am putting the 4 inch suspension lift on my truck and have to lose 2 inches of height to get in the garage so i and going to rig something up so i can keep my lights.
i figured out how to do it with a little bit of sheet metal. thanks anyway though. Splashman, i had originally thought about my sunroof but that wouldnt work so i had already decided the back hatch was the way to go!
