i took the tranny access plate off i cant reach far enough with 1 hand to disconnect the plug. i tried underneith but my hand is 2 big. I saw the connecter from under the hood but that would be a pain in the but to disconnect. any suggestions?

u know i didnt even think of going through the wheel well. thanks

Not entirely related to the vehicle, but I just did an o2 sensor change on a lincoln towncar....those connectors sure are hard to get at...if you still don't have enough room going through the wheel well....get someone with smaller hands to remove the connector for you. Hopefully you don't have to drop part of your exhaust and heat the area with a torch to get the sensor out! Good luck.

Just did the job myself. Jacked it up. Removed the tire. Removing the splash guard as mentioned above does make it a heck of a lot easier. Skinny finger and arms help a bunch. Good Luck!

Just did this tonight myself. I went a little bit non-traditional, putting my knees on the radiator support and basically laying on the top of the engine. I used a bent coat hanger to hold the harness and a long craftsman screwdriver to depress the tab. Not comfortable, but took care of my p1151 in about 5 minutes.
