CARBON FIBER HOOD?

anyone find or installed a Carbon Fiber Hood on their 2016 explorer sport?? i want to get one but can’t seem to find one for the life of me. It’s either there isn’t one made for this vehicle or .... yeah just that. lol. i mean i can just get it wrapped in carbon fiber but it doesn’t feel as accomplishing.

I have never seen any carbon fiber panels, or parts, made for the 5th gen explorer. The closest thing I have seen was custom carbon fiber fender flares made for a SEMA vehicle:

The hoods on the 5th gen are already made of aluminum so the weight savings for the CF hood would be negligible, so you would be better off having the hood wrapped.

Just keep in mind that wrapping it won't stop the paint bubbling issue. Hood Paint bubble issue only

According to the build, the carbon fiber pieces were made custom by DinMann Carbon (DINMANN carbon fiber parts made in USA)
