Just take unbolt the rest of the exhaust from the cats and tie it up out of the way and you have a nice rumbly sound as well as a lil boost in power...just watch out for them pesky noise pollution cops

I took the bolts out of the back of the cat today to spray them with penetrant stuff. I decided to crank it up with the muffler disconnected to see what it sounded like. From 2000-3000 RPMs it sounded a little like a flowmaster and had a rumble to it. From 2000 on down, it sounded like $hit! I couldn't believe how bad it sounded. I quickly connected it all back up and now it sounds good again!
