k so i was looking into the catch can and i think it would be a good idea for my truck. is there a post that shows you step by step how to make it and install it thanks john

Catch can for what? Catch cans can be used for almost any fluid in the vehicle.

yes i am refrering about the pvc. i was wondering if it would make a major difference in preforance and what else can you use it for
 






I use the BIG oil/water separator. It works great.
Only mod to it was removing the drain valve. It would leak and I could see bubbling in the oil it had caught. Air was being sucked in past that valve. I just unscrew the whole thing to drain it.

Home Depot, Lowes, etc. It will be in the air tool section as a air compressor accessory.

There is no need to. Use it as is. It will work fine. Just make sure you have the flow direction fine, from engine to the "IN" on the filter then out to the intake.
 






OK, someone do this on the 5.0 once and for all and take LOTS of pics of the install. :D
