CB fuel pump noise

i just bought a new cobra 29 WX NW ST and for the first time i am getting annoying as heck fuel pump noise, with the squelch in all positions, i have moved the ground to the radio from the fender where it was to the battery and still no change, i also have a 10 gauge ground wire for my 67 inch radioshack whip antenna, so i need a RFI filter or better sheilding, any help is much appreciated, thank you in advance

anyways, after my first post i found 2 RF filters laying around my house and i put one on the coax cable and one on the power leads to the radio, started it up and no more humming, but now, it hums when i am receiving and whenever i am near streetlights or any other type of electricity as well as humming when the engine is shut down and all is on is the cb, any ideas on what parts i may need or just call the "local" cb shop?

take the one off the antenna ,you should only need it on the power wire.
get ones like this.

By null at 2007-10-19

then wrap as many turns of the power wire only thru it .then close it up .do no wrap the ground wire thru there with it ,the red wire only .

that should be suffeciant to rid you of any noise
