CEL after CPS swap

I just changed out my CPS synchronizer today because it had the death squeel. Now the CEL (check engine light) is coming on. Even after clearing the code with a MAC scan tool it came back on with the code for the CPS (cam position sensor). I replace the synchronizer assembly which came with the new sensor. Any ideas?

Is it running ok? You may have to drive it a bit for the computer to 're-learn' the new CPS.

Yes, seems to be running fine. I'm gonna run and have the code cleared now and drive around a while and see if it keeps coming on.
