Center Cap Rust Spot Question

Hey guys, got a question on the Rock Crawler series 152 rims I have on my X. Been less than a year and the center caps are rusting. Anything I can do to prevent this?? Nothing really came up in a search but someone did mention an anti-rust spray? If I took some steel wool and lightly went over each cap and then sprayed this anti-rust stuff over them would that do the trick? Anyone else have this problem??

That's interesting. I wonder if a clear coat type thing would benefit at all?

i have had the same problem... ive also got rock crawlers and they have been on almost a year now
