center console

Well my explorer was broken into in my dorms garage. only thing messed up was my center console which had the lid (soft arm rest part) ripped off. Now i have a nice hole in the back of it. I have a 99 sport grey interior. Anyway i can find one cheap so i can replace it. I really do not want to go threw insurace for something under 100 bucks.

Ebay is your best and cheapest way to go. Just check the sellers rating and place your bids. If you don't get one at your price right away just keep bidding and you'll soon learn the going rate for the item and can adjust your bids. Patience is your best friend and can get you a great deal. Salvage (Junk) yards can also be a source but they can be few and far between and it's hard to find the right color and size. :roll:

I got one from the Junk yard for $35, but they charged me for the entire console, not the arm (which was the only part I took, shouldve taken the entire thing since they charged me for it). But I think it should've been cheaper than that, the one I dealt with was the most expensive one in the County.
