Should be a bolt on both sides. Gotta pop off the plastic pieces to see them.

LEAN THE FRONt SEATS BACK THERE SHOULD BE AN OVAL SHAPED PLASTIC COVER ON EACH SIDE, USE A SMALL FLAT BLADE SCREWDRIVER TO GENTALLY PRY THEM OFF, BEHIND THAT SHOULD BE 2 BOLTS AND ITS EASER TO GET THEM WITH AN EXTENTION. BE SURE NOT TO DROP THE BOLTS OR YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE THE ENTIRE CONSOLE
ps sorry bout the caps im at work and was not paying attn.

Got it apart, thanks

Found some cool fabric- that fake lambs wool stuff. Im going to upholster right over the old leather and add a block of wood underneath so that it doesn;t extend all the way down so easily. I figure this will help make sure i don't snap it off when i lean on it getting in and out.

I'll post some pics once its done.

the replacement bracket for it is metal

I did the same thing with some camo fabric that i found at walmart and i used the e3000 glue to attach it as sewing it on would be difficult with the tools that i have.
