Changed my front shocks today.....

It was pretty easy surprisingly!!! Something I noticed that I hadn't noticed before when taking the wheels off.......there are NO springs. I can't believe that I didn't see that before; I've changed the brakes, rotors, plugs, stabilizer, etc. and I don't know much about cars, but I've never seen one without springs....Can anyone explain? Thanks!

It has springs. They're torsion bars, not springs like you would probably expect to see. If you look you'll see a bar going through your lower control arm and it goes back to somewhere behind the 1st row of seats.
