Changed the belt yesterday on my daughter's '99 3.0L Ranger, 2WD.
The Dayco belt would not fit -- no way. I even called my neighbor to come over and try to help me force it on.
Did some more research online and it looked like the Gates belt was a little larger. Gates gave specs as ' 88 7/8" long. ' Dayco's specs that I found also said ' effective length 88.58" '
Whatever... Dayco is off my list.
Gates belt dropped right on there like it was made for it -- unlike the Dayco.
Yours may be different, but this was sure my experience.
