I am looking for thoughts on recommended products for cleaning the engine out prior to changing to synthetic. Amsoil offers a pricey product, but I've heard liquid wrench works well. What about seafoam? Has anyone done the switch to full synthectic? Contemplating synthectic switch to all areas..differentials,transfer case, tranny.

I have never used any sort of a "flush" prior to switching to synthetic.

Good luck.

I used seafoam in my oil before switching to synthetic (amsoil) at 130,000 miles. No problems, runs great!

Full synthetic is definitely worth the money and will actually save you cash if you use amsoil due to their extended drain intervals.

Dump it in. The first time I do it, I change the oil and filter sooner than necessary incase there was any foreign debris floating around.
