Charcoal or Propane/Gas

Its all about time. If I have plenty of time I use charcoal, if I'm in a hurry I fire up the propane. Charcoal just gives it a better flavor than gas. Oh and I NEVER use self lighting carcoal, I can taste that crap in the meat.

Honestly man, i used to feel the same way. Now that we have a gasser, we grill at least 4 days a week. When i was stubborn and wouldnt use anything but the coal, we would grill maybe twice a month.

We grill at home 2-3 days a week in the winter and just about every day in the summer. When at work we grill every day in the summer and maybe 2-3 time a month in the winter. I dont mind the prep time that the charcoal takes. To me its very much worth the effort and time...
