"Cheap" extended rear brake line

I needed to extend the rear brake line for my 93 ranger. After checking a bunch of part numbers at Napa I came up with the following item number 25160. It is about 10" long. I would think it would work on explorers as well but make sure you double check.

Is this where it goes down to the rear axle and t's off?
 






Unthread the rear flex line at the frame end. One side of the new hose connects to the hard line at the frame and the other end attaches to the original rear flex brake line. Just makes it 10 inches longer.
 






I think I used one off a '96 F350 4x4, it was about 10" longer then the factory explorer one.
