Replaced my tired original airride shocks (249 000 km on them!) with some edelbrock drop shocks. Originally I unplugged the mini airtanks and removed the assembly from the truck.

I noticed the check engine light come on shortly after...so i tried putting the assembly back in and pluging in the electrical. Then unhooked my battery for 45 minutes to attempt to reset the computer but the light is still on.

Anyone else had this problem? I'll fail emissions if the light is on and I cannot go back to the poor old air rides.

thanks

Replacing the shocks had nothing to do with the CEL light coming on.

You need to have it read.
