check engine light on after hydro lock

hey does anybody know why my check engine light is on , i sucked in some muddy crusty water so i pulled the plugs blew the crap out , igot her running again but every time i step on the brake pedal th od light starts flashing and if i step on it again the engine light comes on , plus the plugs i pulled out were oil fouled like hell and smelled like gas, if you guys know any solutions let me know thanx

you could have messed up something in the motor when you hydrolocked, what that would be i'm not sure. If you have an autozone near by take it there they do free cel checks.

I suggest you change the fluid in transmission and change the engine oil. Also clean the MAF. It would not hurt to have a Ford dealer run the codes for the transmission to see what's up. I don't have any faith in autozone's testing skills beyond the engine itself.
