Check out my new DVD player install

well i was at tweeter the other day and i found this dvd player for dirt cheap so i had to get it. then with it just sitting in my house i decided that i had to install it. although i only have 1 screen in my truck right now, i am prepared for the next step of getting some for the headrests. anyway, i installed it in the center armrest console. it was a lot easier than i thought it was going to be.

Cool, where is the screen mounted? Any other pictures of the install?

the screen is in my dash. its the alpine iva-w205. unfortunately i didnt take any pictures along the way while i was making it.

uhh i'm confused, the iva-w205 plays dvd's allready why the external one also?

because i got it for dirt cheap and i am going to be getting headrest screens too. i dont want to watch hannah montana which is what my daughter will want to be watching in the back seat.

nice and clean install..i like it. Only one thing...is there any reason why you took up the whole center console? Maybe using half of it and leaving the other half open to put DVDs or just random things
just an idea..other than that i really like the stealth look

I never really thought of just using half of it. Now looks like I have another project. It can't hurt to try it out. If it doesn't go well, I can just use what I already have
