Looks rad.

I especially like the look of the front end, as soon as i get my system thats what im gonna be going for.

99EX, do you have any directions or hints on how to enclose the amp in the side like you did? Thanks alot

is that BFG KM pretty loud on the road? u got a locker for your rear? sweet truck man.

oh man, you did a helluva job with that. it looks great

how do you like that kenwood HU? im not a big fan of kenwood stuff, but i was checking out an indash navigation system that they make - its a touch screen - and i was blown away. im graduating in may and ill start working in june, and im hoping i can get one this summer :D

Looks good. a nice clean install

Yo that biznitch is the shiznit homes! Just playing around, I love the box that you had made for your two 15s. Just one question, how does the amp stayed cool? Do you have some fans on it? Have you taken it on a long drive yet to see how often the amp has to power off to cool down? I like the plexiglass idea I just don't know how you keep it cool.

XplorerSport and TarHeel085- i will post something later concering how to go about make this enclosure. im too busy right now to think cause it was soo long ago when i did it.

Black Magic- my ps2 is installed in the center console. i had to cut out the bottom of the console a bit going into the ac ducts to make it work. as of right now no pics of that cause it is not totally finished...once i get my new disk changer and put it in there too then i will post some pics.

swak6287- the muds werent loud at all until i did the t\t and shackles then i got an alignment and the truck still pulled to the right so they switched the front tires right to left and left to the right side and now they are unbelieveably loud. i dont know why. he said something about the radials blah blah blah i dont know but they are some narley tires i love them.

tbomb- i like the kenwood its worked well for me. the only thing i dont like is that it isnt fully motorized. it come out but you have to fold it up. but other than that its great. im thinking about selling it soon and buyin my cousins alpine.

aggieEB- there is no cooling system at all. the amp stays cool on its own. ive done many long drives and ive never had it shutdown on me. i guess if you just buy quality products like my DEI amp, then you dont have problems like shutting down.

I CUT THE PLASTIC POCKET COVER PIECE SO THAT THERE WAS JUST A TRIM RING ALL THE WAY AROUND AND THEY I BOUGHT A PIECE OF PLEXIGLASS FROM HOME DEPOT AND CUT IT TO THE SAME SIZE WITH A BOX CUTTER. THEN I CUT THE PLEXI SO THAT THE MOUNTING TABS FOR THE COVER PIECE WOULD GO THREW THE PLEXI. THEN I JUST PUT THE COVER AND PLEXI TOGETHER AND PUSHED IT INTO ITS SPOT.

Thats a sweet setup......love the X. My parents have one like it...IM going to show them a picture of it and hopefully spark an intrest in them to modify theirs. What is the internal box volume of your enclosure? I am in the process of putting (1) 15" Cerwin Vega Stroker in the back of my 1992 X and Im curious as to how much room it is going to take...its a 5.05 ft^3 box (I need to start on it this weekend).

IM NOT TO SURE ON THE INTERNAL VOLUME OF THE BOX...I WASNT REALLY KEEPING VOLUME IN MIND WHEN I WAS BUILDING IT...I WAS MORE FOCUSED ON THE APPEARANCE OF IT. BUT IN THE END IT ENDED UP SOUNDING THE SAME AS MY OLD BOX WHICH I BOUGHT. I KNOW THE INTERNAL VOLUME IS SMALLER BUT IT HASNT REALLY EFFECTED THE SOUND.
