i just bought it for 100$ shipped, its has a 31 spline spool, which is what i planned on running, 4.10 gear ratio, and it needs a new yoke, but i should be able to use the one on my axle, right... thanks a bunch

make sure the bearings are good and the doublecheck the backlash and such. Looks ok to me.

It looks pretty clean, all i see is a little gasket/RTV around the mounting surfaces.

The only way you are going to know for sure if its set up OK, is by getting some gear marking compound and checking the pattern.

The bearings are probably fine. As long as they are in one peice, and there isnt any surface defects on the rollers or the races, they should be fine.

so yer going with 4.10's? i thought u were planning on moving up to a larger tire eventually... i mean that'll work fine if u don't go any bigger in tire size. but limits u on what u can do later...

^^Yeah, but 100 shipped. You can't beat that. Looks pretty good. Do what Creager and Nissanboy said and you should be good to go.

No need for a lower gear ratio...............just up the 351w hp and torque some more!!! :D

well i decided 4.10s partially because i need to drive this thing daily for a quite a while yet, and i wouldnt like doing 70 at 3500-4000. 4.10s should be pretty good, and i figure at this price, i can throw the rear in, try it out in 2wheel and if i want more go up a gear. or like robb said, just up the hp and tq a bit
