Child Safety locks

Any body have any issues with the child safety locks for the rear doors staying on no matter of switch position?

this is fairly uncommon. Are you sure your rear handles aren’t just broke? This is super common, and just prevents opening from the inside.

It's very likely something in the mechanism is broken, i'd open up the door panel and see if there is something missing, it's quite easy to remove/install.

I have to open my rear doors from outside, but haven't been arsed to fix them since i rarely use them, had to fix front door though.... doors mechanisms seem to be few of the weak links with these cars.
