Got a set of clarion components and decided to install them on the outside of the door panel just tone different.

Definitely different. Looks like you did a nice job on the install. :thumbsup:

I would be concerned about attracting thieves.
 






How are you going to keep the door card from rattling like hell?
 






Yeah I know about the thieves but Ill deal with it when that time comes. Hopefully it won't though. And it hasn't startled rattling yet and I don't have a lot of bass in the fronts either. But I was planning on putting a ton of dynamat or something in there if it did start rattling.
 






another alternative to dynamat is Roofing Grade Rubber , a friend of mine's dad is a Roofer in chicago and does flat rubber roofs with 4&6 mil rubber , i decided to throw a piece over my plastic hatch cover in rear and it helped Alot , didnt cost me anything and wasnt as heavy as dynamat
 






My 2¢...

Move crossovers to under the dash or behind the kickpanels.

Paint the speaker grills to match the door panel, so they blend in, and attract less attention. A little paint now, is alot cheaper than paying for a broken window, broken door panels, etc...
