Just ordered my new axle shaft, and I'm working on intergrating my front bumper to my roll cage this weekend so that the fenders will continue to look like fenders. Next month Gitts Spring in Auburn is making a custom set of flexy leaf springs....so I should be good to go...I'll just tag along and caravan out there with Kevin...

Good! You and Kevin are giving rides up the 4W305. I hear it has some nasty off camber stuff IF you can get through the Alders that were overgrowing the trail.

Bryce and I turned around last year when it got so tight you had to weave through the trees when walking You guys can just drive over them

So are you going to have your springs installed by then? I am in the process of installing my tube doors now. The regular doors will never go back on since I am using the latch mechanism and the inside door lever and a small piece of the inside door sheet metal. I'll post pics later on.

Is there anything you guys suggest I get for the rig before going, im going to get a CB for sure but anything else, I dont want to the unprepared downer.

Make sure there is air in your spare tire, tools that you may need, a tow strap (no metal hooks), and whatever else you think you might need.

He really won't need much other than his spare. It sounds like there will be rigs there that carry enough parts to build a new X.

I'll have a winch that'll go front or back (only one place up there I would probably use it, last time the only place I could use it was to pull a tree off the road ), 2 straps, 1 block, a tree saver, small compressor, full tool box.

I know Ryan will have tons of stuff and you probably do too.

the truth is i did some research of the area and found that there wasnt any water deep enough for my truck to go boating in, so i'm really just going to go 4wheelin that weekend at lake washington....

Ok, the Utah Bonneville Salt Flats run fell through, just need to put in for the vacation and I'll be good to go!

for anyone that doesnt want to wait I'll be camping up at Tinkham Rd off I90 aug 12th and 13th. Mainly forest service roads to explore, nothing serious, but fun anyways. Really its just a reason for me to get out and sit around a campfire.
