clicking sounds????

I can hear clicking sounds from under my X sometimes when I drive over really bumpy surfaces or pull into a driveway with a good size curb. When I put it in reverse and turn the wheels it sometimes does it to. It almost sounds like a popping noise. I had my front susp. checked not too long ago and they said that it was fine. Any ideas? could it be a u-joint?

It could be a cv joint. Try driving a circle with the wheels near full lock. If it clicks then it's prob. a cv. You aren't supposed to hold the steering wheel against the stops according to the manual.
