Climate control temperature doesn't work

Hi, I own a 96 explorer with the regular 3 knob job climate control setup.

My heaters temperature is stuck on hot and I will turn the temerature dial all the way down to cool and it still stays hot.

I tried 2 other climate control clusters in it too see if it was the actual dial that was faulty but got the same problem with them too.

Anyone know what else this could be??

It's your blend door. Do a search on this site and you should be able to find the free fix. Good luck!!

Yup, happened to me. Also search "plenum". That's what you'll have to replace.

Nothing needs to be replaced. All I did was to drill a hole in the actuator then inserted a pin into it. Totally free.
